1. Buttermilk

Although for many people milk makes the problem worse, others have found that drinking buttermilk eases symptoms. Consuming it 3 times a day alone or to adding black pepper or ground coriander can relieve symptoms faster;

Basil leaves also give relief upon the very first signs of trouble. Chew a few leaves or add to hot water to drink. These leaves soothe the intestinal system by eradicating symptoms such as nausea and flatulence.

3. Banana

Choosing overripe banana to fight the acid as it comprises more potassium than ripe ones have. They also aid in protecting the lining stomach from acid damage.

4. Ginger

Ease the symptoms by chewing a small piece of ginger or drink ginger tea. It can prevent ulcers in the stomach by triggering the secretion of mucus to line the walls of the stomach.

5. Clove

For relief that is immediate, bite into a clove, letting its juice rapidly increase saliva secretion. This will thwart the acid of the stomach; Adding cloves to your diet will help in limiting acid production in the stomach and aid in digestion.
